Public Hearings
Board of Adjustment Hearing - Part 1
February 07, 2007
The Boulder County Board of Adjustment is a quasi-legal appeal board for challenges to the Land Use Director's decisions. It is composed of volunteers selected by the Land Use department. This is an audio recording of the public hearing at the Pearl Street Boulder County Courthouse on 07 February 2007 in Boulder, Colorado.
Over 200 supporters overflowed the room. 18 out of 20 households signed up to speak were in favor of house concerts. Yet, the Board of Adjustment was concerned that by overturning the Land Use Director's interpretation of commercial activity they would open themselves up to raves and loud keg parties.
